I don't think I'll ever crave galbi anywhere else but here. For about $20 you get a good portion with the thickest, tenderest, and tastiest galbi you'll ever get. It also comes with a heaping portion of japchae, rice, and kimchi. Japchae could use more sesame oil or soy sauce though.

I also got kimchi fried rice and bibimbap with added bulgogi. While the portions are large, I wouldn't say those dishes were too tasty. And I found that adding extra meat to the kimchi fried rice was not worth it. I think I counted about 4 small pieces of bulgogi mixed in. Stick to the galbi when you go here.

HUGE portions and reasonably priced too! Bart grocery is definitely a hidden gem in Daly City and the owner is kind too. The spicy pork bulgogi is my favorite dish, with the kalbi coming in second! Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Great food! We've been here twice and each time it just seems to get better. Service is also fast and everyone we've talked to has been very nice.

I haven't been to this location since before the pandemic. It's still great!  The portions are generous, and the pricing is reasonable. Everyone was friendly, and the food was delicious. If you want a mom & pop atmosphere, I highly recommend this hidden gem. You can also pick up your groceries here!

Chicken marinated plate, kalbi plate, bibimbap, kimchi fried rice...you have to try these if you want to try the most delicious items. I don't think I can quite say enough of this little store in Daly City. First of all I've been coming here for years and when the original owners sold, I was doubtful this place was going to be the same. Boy was I wrong! It's better.
Quality is there, portions are generous AF, the price is more than fair, the food is still good if not better, the service is great. You should just know this is a to go place. You are probably going to want to take a quick bite in the car but I must warn you once you start, it's hard to stop.

The marinade for the Galbi is great. Not too sweet. The bbq chicken and bbq Galbi plates are the best here.

I totally support mom and pop shops, especially if the food is good.
Service: really good and fast. I probably waited 7 mins between ordering and leaving. I got there around 1pm.
Food: Really Good! I began to eat before I took the picture but I wanted to make sure folks saw that the ribs are cut.
Parking: residential so it's the luck of the draw.
Overall: Definitely will drive the 15mins to get here for their food-- and maybe some snacks too.

I shouldn't give anymore review to this BBQ place, but i couldn't help it.  Our grandson is very finicky and when we told him about this Korean food, he was adamant but when he saw the Kalbi, he ate just like he hasn't eaten Korean food before.

Sorry, for the pics, I remembered to take pics when it was already half eaten. :-) .  I had the Beef Thinly Sliced (Bulgogi), which is always good, and my wife had the Bibimbap.

Bart, grocery and barbecue has all the essential Korean food that I crave- galbi, soondubu, japchae, and BBQ chicken. Having lived in LA for seven years, and missing the food down there, I will say that this place offers some really good choices AND the food tasteS good. Of course, you cannot compare anything to LA or Atlanta Korean food, but this is one of the best places in the bay area in my opinion.

Good prices, tasty, and great quantity/ quality.

The service is great. They are quick to get my orders and were making fun faces and waving to our LO when we were picking up an early dinner.

Only sad part is there's no place to eat in, so you can't enjoy the food there (ambiance) but still good food nonetheless! It's also a grocery store, so pick up your food, some essentials (they have kimchi too!), and enjoy all your food and essentials at home or elsewhere!
